CDL-A Driver $1,200-$1,500/Wk - Paid Training
Job Type: Driving
You already completed CDL school and earned your Class A license. This position gives qualified newer drivers a paid path into professional driving, followed by a solo dry van position serving freight that originates in Michigan and works back toward the state.
Paid road training lasts approximately 3-5 weeks and includes 200-250 behind-the-wheel hours with an experienced driver. Michigan trainee pay is $900 per week.
Orientation is no more than two days, and the $300 orientation payment is paid upon hire.
The first load moves outbound from Michigan. From the delivery area, freight is worked back toward Michigan for the next load, so routes can vary rather than running the same direct lane every trip.
This operation is structured around home time every two weeks with 34-hour resets.
After training, approved passengers may ride with the driver and one approved dog under 40 lbs. is permitted.
