Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL.

• Trainees with less than 6 months of recent CDL-A experience are welcome.
• Solid employment history without major unemployment gaps.
• Acceptable MVR and driving record.
• Pass a DOT-compliant pre-employment drug test.
• Meet applicable driver qualification and hiring requirements.

Eastern OTR Freight With Flexible Home-Time Options

Start with paid CDL-A mentorship, then move into an Eastern dry van position averaging $1,300-$2,000 per week. This operation stays away from New York City and the boroughs.

DRIVING POSITION

• Runs typically move north from Virginia into the Northeast
• 34-hour restarts and home time approximately every two weeks
• Mostly drop-and-hook with some live loading and unloading
• Day and night driving required

COMPENSATION

• $1,300-$2,000 average weekly earnings
• Starting mileage rate of $0.55 CPM
• Tenure increases of $0.01 CPM up to $0.65 CPM

MENTOR TRAINING

Training is approximately 3-5 weeks with 200-250 behind-the-wheel hours. Paid orientation is no more than two days, with $300 paid upon hire.
