Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal candidates may have 1 year in program and CDL prerequisites.
• External hires require 0-6 months with CDL A.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete the entry level driver trainee or dock-to-driver training program.
• Assist driver trainer and follow instructions for deliveries.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety checks and report issues.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders per route schedule.
• Unload and secure freight, verify invoices and obtain signatures.
• Complete required paperwork and log hours of service as required by DOT.
