Job summary

Sysco is seeking delivery drivers to transport products from the warehouse to customers, operating tractor trailers and ensuring accurate delivery and unloading per invoices. Candidates should hold a Class A CDL and have at least one year of tractor-trailer experience.

Our Columbus team offers paid training, strong benefits, and the chance to advance within a national network. Evening dispatch and regular routes are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required; food/beverage delivery a plus.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted in lieu of or in addition to a diploma.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer by hand or with a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks to customer storage areas per instructions.
• Ensures paperwork and logs are completed according to DOT and company guidelines.
• Maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Develops good relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
