Job summary

Sysco Columbus Team is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from the warehouse to customers, delivering and unloading according to invoices and company standards. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer service in all routes.

Candidates should have a valid Class A CDL and at least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience; food/beverage delivery experience is a plus. Benefits include paid holidays, insurance, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted in addition to a high school diploma.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required. Food and/or beverage delivery experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or with a hand cart, per customer specs and company standards.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed per guidelines (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices).
• Ensures food safety protocols are met and products stored properly to prevent cross contamination.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with customers through excellent, courteous service.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
