Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Rogers, MN is seeking a delivery driver with a valid CDL A. You will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on local and intrastate routes to deliver food products, perform safety checks, and maintain accurate paperwork. 5-day work week, early start, and a sign-on bonus are offered.

During training you earn a $34 hourly rate, and after training drivers can average about $100,000 per year through our component pay program. Benefits start Day 1.

Qualifications

• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Clean MVR from past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card current.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements.
• Able to lift 10–35 lb and up to 60–90 lb with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Performs safety checks per DOT regulations and inspects equipment.
• Delivers and unloads products according to route and signs for delivery.
• Verifies delivery with customer signatures.
• Completes required paperwork and daily log entries.
• Moves tractor to loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer; keeps areas clean.
