Performance Foodservice seeks a CDL-A driver to ensure timely, safe delivery of foodservice products. You will operate tractor-trailer and straight truck routes, including overnight shifts, while representing the company at customer sites and delivering on-time, in good condition.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• DOT health card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip and inspections per DOT guidelines.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving policies.
• Inspect trailer loading, verify customer invoices, and secure freight.
• Lock and secure tractor/trailer; unload damaged goods as needed.
• Maintain daily records and hours of service in compliance with DOT.
• Uphold safety standards throughout the delivery process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all company policies and standards.
