Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks for intrastate and interstate routes, including overnight and OTR duties. The role requires ensuring on-time delivery and proper unloading of food products while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Average annual pay is $91,000 with comprehensive benefits starting Day 1, including health, stock purchase, 401(k) match, tuition assistance, and PTO.

Qualificações

• Valid CDL-A license.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
• Unloads products from the trailer and transports items into designated customer storage areas.
• Performs safety checks and DOT compliance; reports safety hazards and required repairs.
• Completes daily log of hours of service in accordance with DOT and company requirements.
