Job summary

Republic Services in Maryland is seeking a licensed CDL-A Driver to safely operate heavy trucks and deliver or remove large containers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to maintain operational readiness.

Responsibilities include pre/post inspections, route servicing, customer interactions, minor container repairs, and timely reporting. A valid Class A CDL with air brakes is required; prior truck-driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.
• Maintains a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate heavy trucks along designated routes and service customers.
• Load/unload materials and operate disposal equipment as directed.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and reports.
• Follow all safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
