Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a CDL A truck driver to safely operate tractor-trailers and handle freight across various routes. You will comply with FMCSA regulations, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain required documentation while providing courteous service to customers.

The role requires Hazmat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, a valid CDL, and the ability to lift 70 pounds. You must pass a medical exam and road test and reside within 75 miles of the service center.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age required by FMCSA regulations; 1 year driving experience required.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration is required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required (LCV may apply).
• Able to drive tractor-trailer for FMCSA-compliant periods.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift (7500 lb).
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. or more as needed.
• Able to meet FMCSA English reading/speaking requirements.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.

Responsabilidades

• Operate all types of equipment safely, including manual and automatic transmissions.
• Transport freight in compliance with FMCSA laws.
• Maintain compliance records and safety inspections.
• Handle loading/unloading, securing cargo, and dock work as needed.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
• Attend to local pick-up and delivery routes and hub runs when required.
• Adhere to company policies, safety rules, and code of conduct.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Work independently or in a team; adapt to schedule changes.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
