Job summary

FedEx Freight in New Hampshire seeks an experienced driver to pick up and deliver freight between Service Centers and customers, while supporting the selling process. You will operate tractor-trailer combinations, perform daily safety checks, and ensure proper securing of loads.

Responsibilities include following dispatch instructions, maintaining documentation, and adhering to DOT regulations. The role requires strong communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required with double/triple endorsements and hazmat.
• Able to meet DOT requirements and maintain safe driving record.
• Strong math, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with freight handling and basic loading/unloading procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks to pick up and deliver freight.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and dollies as needed.
• Secure freight with pallets, straps, and rope; use forklifts/pallet jacks.
• Maintain required documentation and reports; follow dispatch instructions.
• Communicate with customers to determine pickup/delivery needs and solicit new business.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, safety policies, and company procedures.
