Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc is seeking a professional to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers. You will operate tractor-trailer combinations, perform daily safety inspections, and secure cargo for transport.

Applicants must hold a CDL A with required endorsements, maintain a valid MVR, and comply with DOT regulations. This role involves customer interaction and potential linehaul duties with mileage-based pay in some cases.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• One year experience in last three years or completed FedEx Driver Dev Course.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT FMC regulations 391.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers.
• Operate tractor-trailer combos including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
