Job summary

StraitsX Group is seeking a Compliance Manager (CDD) to lead the CDD team and own high‑risk onboarding across corporate customers, individuals, and card programs. You will mentor analysts, serve as the final quality gate, and prepare case details for the Due Diligence Committee.

Collaborate with Product to refine tooling and policies, drive continuous improvements, and ensure responsible deployment of new features from a compliance perspective.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of AML/CDD/KYC experience within banking, payments, FinTech, or another regulated financial services environment.
• At least 1–2 years of direct experience managing or leading a team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Active CAMS (or equivalent) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CDD Analyst team, overseeing workload distribution, coaching, and continuous professional development.
• Serve as the final quality gate for high-risk onboarding cases before escalation to Head of Compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive case details for the Due Diligence Committee and attend meetings to walk through case specifics.
• Develop, author, and maintain the onboarding playbook used by Onboarding and Account Operations teams.
• Oversee end-to-end periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring workflows.
• Ensure a clear division of responsibilities between the Compliance team and Operations.
