Job summary
Augustus is building a US team from the ground up, offering a role as a CDD Analyst in New York City. You will own customer due diligence end to end, from onboarding through periodic and event-driven reviews, and lead high-risk reviews while shaping automated onboarding with Engineering and Product.
The team emphasizes risk-aware, autonomous decision-making and real-time improvements. You will report to the Deputy BSA Officer and contribute to a modern, AI-native bank that scales KYC with agents
Qualifications
- 2–6 years experience in CDD or related field.
- Experience at a top-tier consultancy, high-bar startup, or as Chief of Staff to a founder.
- Built automations, tools, or workflows used today (SQL, scripting, AI tools).
- Based in New York City and willing to work onsite.
Responsibilities
- Lead CIP/CDD on individuals and legal entities from onboarding to annual reviews.
- Assign customer risk ratings and conduct EDD on high-risk customers.
- Prepare cases for High-Risk Customer Review Committee.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product to automate onboarding within regulatory bounds.
- Improve prompts for review agents to reduce routine cases.
