Job summary

Corewell Health in Lakeland/St Joseph area seeks a nursing technician to support the Intensive Care Unit. You will collect and report patient needs, provide direct care under RN supervision, and help develop individualized care plans.

You will maintain a clean environment, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold privacy and ethical standards. This part-time role includes evenings and rotating weekends within a compassionate, high-quality care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ARC or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families with RN/Provider coordination; ensures documentation is accurate and timely.
• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN/Provider; contributes to individualized care plans and ensures documentation is accurate.
• Articulates nursing technician role to patient and health team; supports safe, quality patient care in a cost-effective manner.
• Cleans patient environment/equipment and reports malfunctions to appropriate staff.
• Demonstrates ethical conduct; protects privacy and data of patients, staff, and organization.

Education
