Corewell Health at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph in St Joseph is seeking a Nursing Technician to support the Intensive Care Unit. You will assist RNs and providers, document care, and contribute to individualized patient plans in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The role is part-time with a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. shift, 24 hours weekly, based at the Lakeland Hospital St Joseph site. Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• ARC or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual needs in coordination with RN or Provider and ensures documentation is accurate and timely.
• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN or Provider, contributing to an individualized plan of care and ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
• Articulates the Nursing Technician role to patients, families and health team members, supporting safe, quality patient care.
• Cleans patient environments, work areas and equipment, and reports malfunctions to the appropriate department.
• Upholds high standards of privacy, confidentiality and security of patient, staff and organization data.
