Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Coronary Care Unit. This full-time night shift role offers 12-hour shifts with a pay range of $36.00–$49.16 per hour and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

The unit emphasizes safe patient care, rapid response to changes, and close physician collaboration. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS within 30 days, basic rhythm interpretation, and preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and supervise/guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physician, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
