Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Coronary Care Unit on a full-time day shift. The role focuses on delivering safe patient care using the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and families.

You will hold an RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and may participate in ventilator management; BSN is preferred. The position offers competitive pay and a sign-on bonus discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Direct patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
