Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks an LPN/LVN to join the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) on the night shift. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, focusing on cardiac safety and outcomes.

This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, with a supportive team and EMR documentation responsibilities across high-acuity patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN or LVN license required.
• IV certification within 90 days of hire.
• BW certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care and monitor vital signs and cardiac status
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws
• Collaborate with RNs and care teams on treatment plans
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and protocol compliance
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems
• Report changes in patient condition promptly
