Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, plan, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice in the CCU.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient status and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment responses.
