Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Coronary Care Unit on the full-time night shift. You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with physicians on changes in patient condition.

This role requires active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and acute care experience; BSN preferred. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Coronary Care Unit.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
