Allied Universal is seeking a CCTV Room Operator in New York to monitor live surveillance feeds across client sites, assess suspicious activity, and help ensure security and safety. This role requires alertness, quick decision-making, and adherence to site policies.

Qualified applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of experience) and be prepared for background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• TWIC Card required or able to obtain.
• No prior work experience required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• View live surveillance footage and notify clients of suspicious activity.
• Evaluate suspicious activity and possible criminality.
• Visually scan monitored images for suspicious persons or packages.
