Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Operative to conduct foot and vehicle patrols, secure access points, monitor CCTV and alarms, and prepare reports. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and proactive incident response at client sites in the New York area.

Minimum requirements include 18+ years of age for unarmed roles, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting individuals as needed.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or safety-related incidents to the client.
• Document security-related incidents as required.
