Job summary

AMR is hiring a Critical Care Transport (CCT) nurse for a full-time position in Chandler, AZ. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and pays $38.11–$56.57 per hour to deliver high-quality inter-facility patient care.

The ideal candidate has ICU RN or ED/CCT/Trauma RN background, valid RN license, and current ACLS/PALS/BLS-C with a willingness to obtain PHTLS/NRP within 6 months. Strong teamwork and certification maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have ICU RN or ED/CCT/ Trauma experience (non-negotiable).
• Active RN license in good standing and valid driver7s license.
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C provider status.
• PHTLS and NRP provider certification within 6 months of hire.
• IS-100B (ICS 100) and IS-700A (NIMS) courses.
• CCT inter-facility transfer experience; CEN/CCRN/TNCC/ENC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care transport.
• Provide care within RN scope and per CCT standardized procedures.
• Use critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians' orders.
• Act as team leader and ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment; perform equipment checks.
• Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel, and crew.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.

We're hiring a Critical Care Transport (CCT) Nurse that is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic as well as advanced patient care during inter-facility transportation of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Nurses assess and use expertise in each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Provide care requirements aligned within the Registered Nurse scope of practice as defined by the Board of Registered Nursing and per CCT standardized procedure.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians' orders.
• Act as team leader and take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients and maintain regular equipment checks and stock.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow crew.
• Nurses are accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver's License
• Current Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/ Cardiac/Trauma RN experience (Non-negotiable)
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status
• BLS, ACLS, CPR Card (American Heart Association only- AHA)
• PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• ICS courses, refer to FEMA (nims/) - IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
• Critical care inter-facility transfer experience; CEN, CCRN, TNCC, or ENC Certification; BTLS/PHTL
