SCAMHC seeks a dedicated Therapist to join a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, providing timely mental health and substance use assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Part-time and full-time roles are available, with responsibilities spanning intake, care planning, referrals, and interprofessional collaboration to support stabilization and recovery.

• Master’s degree required in a behavioral health field.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Licensed or license-eligible preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, crisis intervention, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments.
• Complete intakes and develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Assess clinical needs and determine appropriate services and level of care.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization as needed.
• Refer to inpatient services when appropriate and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote integrated care.
• Coordinate referrals to mental health, substance use, crisis, medical, and community services.
• Offer consultation and education to community agencies and the public.
• Maintain confidential clinical documentation in line with standards and guidelines.
• Promote timely access to care and recovery-focused treatment.
