Job summary

Southwest Behavioral Care, Inc. is seeking part-time clinicians to perform initial screenings, assess clients, and develop individualized treatment plans across mental health and substance use services.

The role involves coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, attending case conferences, and potentially managing a small outpatient caseload while ensuring timely documentation and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Nursing or Activities Therapy in accordance with DHS/DDAP regulations.
• Graduate Degree in a clinical discipline with 12 graduate-level credits in mental health or counseling from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls for services by completing initial screenings and scheduling initial appointments.
• Conducts a comprehensive mental health, drug/alcohol, or co-occurring assessment on all clients.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans using individual, marital, group, and family methodologies; maintains at least 60% direct service time.
• Serves as a member of an Interdisciplinary Treatment Team.
• Participates in Case Conferences with psychiatric and clinical staff and provides testimony at court hearings.
• May carry a small caseload for outpatient services.
• Initiates intra- and inter-agency contact to facilitate client care.
• Prepares, maintains, and submits all case records, charts, reports, and forms in a professional and timely manner.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Education
