Job summary

The SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Mental Health Professional II to coordinate and manage the Certified Community Behavioral Center, ensuring compliance and supervising staff in Spartanburg, SC.

You will collaborate with community providers, deliver clinical services to individuals with serious mental illness, and support QA efforts to monitor outcomes and maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor program goals and strategies; ensure compliance with CCBHC requirements and regulatory standards.
• Hire, train and supervise clinical and administrative staff; lead the CCBHC Treatment Team.
• Carry a caseload of clients with comorbid medical and/or substance use disorders and coordinate care transitions.
• Coordinate with community providers and QA processes to ensure continuity of services and data-driven improvements.
