Job summary

WestCare Foundation seeks a clinician to lead CBT group sessions and provide individual and family counseling in a front-line community program in Illinois. The role includes case management, client education, and referrals to community resources, with ongoing collaboration with referring agencies and responders.

Responsibilities include maintaining client files, documenting vocational activities, coordinating ancillary services, and engaging with the criminal justice system as needed.

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelors preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy curriculum.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment screenings (drug screening, OIG LEIE clearance).
• Strong organizational skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBT, family groups, and individual counseling sessions.
• Provide case management, education, community outreach and referrals.
• Maintain and document client treatment files and progress reports.
• Coordinate with referring agencies and represent the agency at community meetings.
• Support ancillary services such as family and continuing care groups.
• Interact with criminal justice and referral sources as needed.
