Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor's degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with CBT curriculum.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the adherence to the policies and procedures of the program.
• Facilitate CBT groups, family groups, and assist clients of the program.
• Deliver individual and group counseling services, case management, education and community outreach, referrals.
• Maintain relationships with referring and supporting agencies and represent the agency at community meetings.
• Participate in ancillary services, e.g., family support groups, continuing care, networking with community agencies.
• Supervise maintenance of client treatment files and documentation.
• Provide general client supervision, planning and scheduling therapeutic activities.
• Prepare client progress reports as necessary.
• Interact with the criminal justice system and/or referral sources as needed.
• Embody the mission and goals of WestCare Foundation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
