Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) contract, serving as the primary liaison with government officials and leading a specialized team providing CBRN detection support to federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.

Based at one of several sites including Novato, CA, this role requires travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations, surge deployments, 24/7 operations, and the ability to manage budgets, personnel, and compliance with

Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years of operational experience planning and executing CBRN detection operations.
• NIMS and ICS certifications (e.g. ICS-100/200/700).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in personnel management and leadership.
• Must obtain and maintain DHS Suitability and Secret-level security clearance.
• Fluent in English with strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to travel 50%+ annually.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract work and align activities with DHS objectives.
• Lead Technical Support Specialists in CBRN equipment proficiency and evaluations.
• Coordinate CBRN detection operations for national security events and responses.
• Deliver weekly progress, monthly program status, and annual performance reports.
• Manage travel authorizations and procurements; monitor budgets and expendables.
• Provide CBRN operations support, plans, logistics, and equipment checks as needed.
• Maintain professional standards in all internal and external communications.
