Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a full-time CBRN Equipment Support to sustain DHS MDDU detection capabilities nationwide.

You will maintain, repair, calibrate and deploy CBRN detection gear, safely handle radioactive sources, track equipment, perform field maintenance, and coordinate with federal, state and local partners. Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in radiation detection training and operations.
• Experience with DHS SEAR/NSSE event support is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in representative R/N detection equipment (PRD, RIIDs, RSI, etc.).
• Ability to handle and transport radioactive sources safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain custody and control of MDDU equipment and radioactive sources.
• Conduct inventories and update tracking information.
• Repair, calibrate and maintain equipment for 24/7 readiness.
• Coordinate deployments with federal, state and local partners.
• Prepare after-action reports and status updates.
