Central Valley Meat Company is seeking a Cattle Accountant II (non-exempt) to manage inventory records, coordinate with vendors and buyers, and ensure accurate cattle costing and settlements in a fast-paced meat processing environment.

This full-time role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least two years in inventory control, and strong ERP and Excel skills. Day shift with rotating hours; strong math and communication abilities are essential for accuracy and teamwork.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in accounting considered a plus.
Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience.
Strong ERP and inventory management software knowledge.
Excel proficiency and strong math/analytical skills.
Ability to work rotating shifts and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

Maintain and update inventory records in accordance with company procedures.
Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock counts and computer records.
Develop and improve inventory management processes for increased accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare settlements and audit cattle checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Set up new vendor accounts and maintain accurate vendor records.
Analyze cattle costing, track commissions, and apply freight costs to cattle transactions.
Organize and process freight bills, ensuring accurate and timely application of charges.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with cattle vendors and buyers to ensure smooth operations.
