Job summary

LMI is seeking a Business Process Analyst in Arlington, Virginia to support a federal client. The role centers on managing CATMS correspondence, editing executive packages, and ensuring DoD standards are met.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, brief senior officials, and handle multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years with senior DoD leadership, and proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/SharePoint.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior DoD leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A high level of experience managing, coordinating, editing, and formatting CATMS packages.
  • Prior experience providing administrative support to senior DoD leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Correspondence utilizing the CATMS tool for the OUSW(A/S) office and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Edit and process executive correspondence packages for senior leader signature, including congressional letters and reports.
  • Ensure documents meet DoD standards and updated rules for written material.
  • Utilize CATMS to respond to taskers and route packages for signature.
  • Facilitate weekly Front Office calls to discuss topics and issues.
  • Coordinate with offices to assign, review, and route CATMS packages to contacts.
  • Check CATMS packages for formatting; proofread and prepare for signature and routing.
  • Brief senior government officials on CATMS package status.
  • Attend meetings, take notes, record actions, and update staff as needed.
  • Coordinate responses for FOIA, DoDIG, GAO, and other requests.
  • Manage multiple assignments in a busy environment.

Business Process Analyst (CATMS Correspondence Manager/Editor)

LMI seeks a Business Process Analyst (CATMS Correspondence Manager/Editor) to support our federal customer in Arlington, Virginia. Responsibilities
  • Manage Correspondence utilizing the CATMS tool for an office in OUSW(A&S). Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure completeness of correspondence packages from beginning to end.
  • Edit and process executive correspondence packages for senior leader signature, including congressional letters and reports, decision memoranda, DoD policies and directives, and responses to incoming mail.
  • Ensure written correspondence products meet Department of Defense standards, guidelines, and updated business rules for written material.
  • Utilize the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) to respond to incoming taskers then task packages forward for signature
  • Facilitate weekly calls with Front Office counterparts to discuss latest hot topics and issues.
  • Coordinate with subordinate offices to assign, review, and route CATMS packages to the appropriate points of contacts for action.
  • Check CATMS packages for formatting, proofread, and edit as necessary; prepare documents for signature and ensure proper routing through the staff via hard copy and CATMS.
  • Brief senior government officials on status of organizational CATMS packages
  • Attend and participate in meetings, take meeting notes, record taskers and actions, and update the staff when necessary.
  • Task and coordinate responses for FOIA, DoDIG, GAO, and other requests for government information.
  • Manage multiple assignments from multiple people in busy work environment.
Qualifications
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior DoD leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A high level of experience managing, coordinating, editing, and formatting CATMS packages.
  • Prior experience providing administrative support to senior DoD leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff members, and the ability to work independently and take a proactive role.
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks according to senior staff requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to interact effectively with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.
  • Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.

Target Salary Range: $110,000-$115,000
