Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting, LLC is hiring a Field (Cathodic Protection) Technician to join our expanding team. The role involves extensive outdoor fieldwork across the U.S., with significant travel and overtime, and an entry-level path toward CP design and certifications.

Employees receive per diem allowances, mileage compensation, and a company vehicle or travel options. Training is provided by in-house experts, and progression toward advanced certifications is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degrees preferred; high school diploma required.
• Willingness to travel extensively for outdoor work.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by following company guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare for planned cathodic protection projects.
• Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs).
• Operate and use testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot cathodic protection systems.
• Gather data, and prepare records and reports.
• Install, maintain and repair components of a cathodic protection system.
• Ensure work aligns with company goals and procedures.
