Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting in Franklin, TN is seeking a Field (Cathodic Protection) Technician to join our growing team. This entry-level role offers travel across the U.S., hands-on training, and exposure to state-of-the-art CP systems.

You will install, monitor, and maintain cathodic protection assets, complete operator qualifications, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver safe, compliant field work. Compensation starts at $22–$26 per hour with significant overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degrees preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to travel extensively for outdoor field work.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle and basic hand/power tools.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by adhering to LSC and client guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare for planned cathodic protection projects.
• Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs).
• Operate and use testing equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on cathodic protection systems.
• Gather data, and prepare records and reports in a timely manner.
• Install, maintain and repair components of a cathodic protection system.
• Ensure your work aligns with company goals and quality standards.
• Work in compliance with all technical procedures and guidelines.
