Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) to assist in diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular conditions. You will perform EKGs, assist in catheterizations, and support angioplasty/stenting under physician supervision. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available. Full-time shift is days with on-call, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., at Riverview Regional Medical Center, Gadsden, AL.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire and maintained.
• Experience with scrubbing procedures and monitoring data in a CV lab preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and monitor cardiac activity.
• Assist cardiologists in catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Support angioplasty and stenting procedures to treat blockages.
• Assist with pacemaker or defibrillator implants and monitoring.
• Prepare patients and monitor vital signs during tests and procedures.
• Report issues to supervising physicians promptly.
