Prime Healthcare is looking for a Radiologic Technologist at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL. This full-time position involves diagnostic imaging responsibilities and requires on-call availability. Qualified candidates must possess relevant certifications and licenses and be proficient in patient interaction and imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R or RCIS or CCT Certification is required.
• Current BLS accredited by the AHA is necessary.
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations is essential.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Function as the first line interface with customers.
• Perform Diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols.
• Ensure X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
• Interact with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort during X-ray examinations.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities.

Skills

Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
