Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist with fluoroscopic, interventional, and neuro-interventional procedures. You will work in a vascular lab, using sterile technique and EHR/PACS to document and review patient data.

This role requires ARRT certification and basic life support, with preferred ACLS and subspecialty radiography credentials. The position emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent preferred.
• ARRT certification/registration required or supported by employer.
• BLS required/preferred; ACLS optional.
• ARRT subspecialty certifications preferred (CVIR, VIR).
• State licensure preferred where applicable.
• Experience in radiology, including surgery and CR, is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures using sterile technique.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and provide instructions to minimize anxiety.
• Review orders with physicians for clarification prior to exams.
• Document patient data and preliminary reports in EHR and PACS.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Demonstrate vascular exam proficiency and knowledge of anatomy and procedures.
