Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Petersburg, VA is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures. The role covers preparing patients, documenting clinical data, and ensuring safety in line with hospital policy.

A sign-on bonus may be available for eligible full-time candidates. Requirements include ARRT or CCI certification and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification is required.
• BLS is required; ACLS is preferred and must be obtained prior to direct patient care.
• Experience in interventional radiology and vascular interventions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures using sterile technique.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures and provide instructions to minimize anxiety.
• Review patient data in the EMR, document findings and report critical results.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality per policy.
• Perform non-invasive vascular exams and interpret results in context with other tests.
