Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Petersburg, VA seeks a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist Licensed Practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and documenting medications and radiation exposure.

The role requires ARRT or CCI certification and BLS. ACLS and additional interventional radiology credentials are preferred; state licensure is optional depending on state requirements. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CCI certification required
• BLS required (AHAs approved source)
• ACLS preferred
• CV-Interventional RT (ARRT) preferred
• Vascular-Interventional RT (ARRT) preferred
• State licensure preferred unless required by state

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures with sterile technique.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and obtain cooperation.
• Document medications and radiation exposure per policies.
• Review patient information in EMR and enter preliminary reporting.
• Maintain exam protocols and safety standards.
• Adhere to mission, values, and corporate responsibility guidelines.
