Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is a 54-bed, acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas. The hospital offers a full complement of services from emergency care and advanced surgery to imaging in a state-of-the-art catheterization lab.

We seek a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS program graduate with ARRT/R.T. licensure and RCIS certification, plus BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved RCIS Program or current student in RCIS program.
• Licensed or eligible for Texas licensure (R.T. or RCIS).
• Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision.
• Work under the direction of the supervisor and physician.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Licenses and/or Certifications:

(R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board orRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)orRCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS programBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart AssociationAdvanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience:1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.
