Advocate Health’s AMC Oshkosh - Cardiac Cath Lab is seeking a qualified professional for a full-time role. The position requires cath lab experience and an Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, with BLS/ACLS within 6 months.

The role includes on-call duties and a sign-on bonus for external applicants. Responsibilities include operating imaging and monitoring equipment, data collection for physician use, and patient-care support before and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
• Cath lab experience required.
• Completion of an approved basic ECG interpretation course within three months of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly change priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with physicians, patients and other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Operates all monitoring, recording and related equipment used during procedures.
• Collects and prepares pertinent data for use by physician/staff.
• Prepares, delivers, and picks up reusable items for re-sterilization.
• Monitors patient ECG for cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Operates the defibrillator and performs CPR when required.
• Assists in pre and post procedure activities related to equipment and patient care.
• Performs calibration, cleaning and quality assurance on equipment.
• Identifies cardiovascular and peripheral vascular anatomy for documentation.
