Job summary

Advocate Health in Oshkosh, WI seeks a Cath Lab Technologist to operate monitoring and imaging equipment during procedures, assist physicians, and support patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include ECG monitoring, defibrillator use, pre/post procedure tasks, equipment calibration and QA; required are an Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, cath lab experience, and BLS; ACLS within six months. Sign-on bonus offered for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved basic ECG interpretation course within three months of hire.
• Cath lab experience required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within six months.
• ACLS certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Operates monitoring, recording and related equipment during procedures and prepares data for physicians and staff.
• Monitors patient electrocardiogram for cardiac dysrhythmias; operates defibrillator and assists in resuscitation when required.
• Assists in pre and post procedure activities related to equipment and patient care; performs calibration, cleaning and QA on equipment.
• Supports physician and staff during procedures; scrubs to assist with diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures.
