Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking an allied health professional to assist in invasive cardiac procedures, working closely with physicians and the Cath Lab team.

The role requires RCIS or a nursing/related program, with relevant licenses such as BLS/ACLS where applicable. Training timelines apply for RCIS if not already held, and flexibility for hospital shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• RCIS or nursing/related program required.
• No experience required.
• RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire or applicable license depending on background.

Responsibilities:

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of a RCIS program Required or
• Graduate from a nursing program Required or
• Graduate of a program in respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology Required

Work Experience

• No experience required

Licenses and Certifications

• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist If a graduate of RCIS program RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire Required or
• Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license. Upon Hire Required and
• BLS
