Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified professional to support invasive cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab. The role requires knowledge of Cath Lab equipment, and the ability to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.

Candidates must be RN, RCIS, or RCES program graduates, have 2 years Cath Lab experience, and hold BCLS/ACLS with GA licensure or multistate licensure. Competitive sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an RN program or RCIS/RCES program required.
• 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• Georgia RN license or multistate licensure required.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in invasive cardiac procedures and maintains Cath Lab equipment.
• Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.

Responsibilities

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required. Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
