Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified Circulation Nurse/ Cath Lab Tech to support invasive cardiac procedures. The role requires RN licensure in Georgia and/or multi-state licensure, with RCIS or RCES credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required.
• RN licensure in Georgia or multi-state licensure as applicable Upon Hire Required.
• RCIS, RCES, or RN licensure with BCLS/ACLS; BCLS and ACLS Required Upon Hire.
• Nursing degree or program completion required for RN track; RCIS/RCES programs are required per role.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in invasive cardiac procedures and provides direct/indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of Cath Lab equipment and performs maintenance as required.
• Provides direct patient care before, during, and after procedures as part of the cardiovascular team.

Responsibilities

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required. Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
