Job summary

A healthcare provider in Georgia is looking for a professional to assist in cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. The role requires a graduate from the RCIS program or a related healthcare program, with BCLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates should have thorough knowledge of Cath Lab/EP Equipment and be able to provide care during procedures. This position has no necessary prior license if the RCIS program graduate, but RCIS certification must be obtained within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license required. If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
