Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to support invasive cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab. You will assist physicians, manage equipment, and deliver direct and indirect cardiovascular care to patients during procedures.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, RCIS/RCES certification, and BCLS/ACLS. A minimum of two years’ Cath Lab experience is expected in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• RN program graduate with Georgia licensure required.
• RCIS or RCES certification required.
• BCLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in invasive cardiac procedures.
• Maintain Cath Lab equipment and ensure readiness for procedures.
• Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.

Responsibilities

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required. Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
