Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA is hiring for a Cath Lab RN role. You will assist physicians in invasive cardiac procedures, oversee Cath Lab equipment, and provide direct/indirect cardiovascular care during procedures. Requires RN licensure in Georgia and RCIS/RCES credentials with BCLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (RN) required.
• Graduate of RCIS program required.
• Graduate of RCES program required.
• 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• RN/RCIS/RCES with GA licensure and BCLS/ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in invasive cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Maintain Cath Lab equipment and provide direct/indirect cardiovascular patient care during procedures.
• Deliver cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Responsibilities

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required. Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
