Job summary

Resolute Health Hospital (part of Tenet Healthcare) is seeking a CV Tech to perform hemodynamic monitoring and assist physicians in Cath Lab procedures. The role includes training Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab staff, with an emphasis on meeting established competencies during the introductory period.

Qualified candidates will have RCIS/RCES certifications, 2+ years of Cath Lab or electrophysiology experience, and BLS on hire with ACLS within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: certificate or degree in health science or equivalent
• RCIS/RCES/LMRT certifications preferred
• BLS required on hire; ACLS within 60 days of hire

Job Summary

The CV Tech performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures. Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. In addition trains Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in health science. or equivalent education

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: NA

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT)

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
